Royal Peterson Control Union Group B.V. (RPCU) and Delphy Groep BV (Delphy) have announced that RPCU has acquired a majority stake in Delphy.
Delphy is a consultancy business focused on optimising the production of food and flowers worldwide through research, projects, data-driven crop management, consultancy and training. Delphy will become part of Peterson Projects and Solutions, which focuses on consultancy and knowledge activities, including agriculture and horticulture.
The acquisition will combine Delphy’s deep domain expertise with the already established international network of RPCU offices, ensuring more countries and supply chains will benefit. Jacco van der Wekken, Director at Delphy, said: “Delphy’s management and shareholders have been looking for a solid partner with whom we can accelerate the use of our expertise and who will contribute to the expansion of Delphy. After a very considered process, the shareholders of Delphy Groep BV have chosen Control Union Group B.V. as their partner for the future.
