Recently, Ploum assisted European Energy with the purchase of Dutch wind farms from Vattenfall. The purchase is part of a portfolio of projects in Denmark, Germany, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom which have been bought by European Energy from Vattenfall. With these acquisitions, European Energy expands its portfolio in several European countries, including managing wind farms in the Netherlands and the UK for the first time. This acquisition fits with European Energy's ambition to be an independent energy supplier and with its expansion into both the Dutch and UK markets.
European Energy is a Danish developer of solar, wind and PtX solutions. The company was founded in 2004 and has since developed and built almost 2 GW of renewable energy in over 18 different countries.
In this transaction, the Ploum Energy Team consisted Stephan Sluijters (leadpartner) Geert de Nijs (corporate), Stan Commissaris (real estate), Jacob Henriquez (construction law), Iris Brinkhof (energy), Sophie de Clercq (corporate), Eline van Leeuwen (administrative law) en Renée van Hoof (construction law).
