Environmental law

Environmental law is a broad and often complex area of law and is characterised by the rapid succession of legislative amendments and case law. For example, we are currently preparing for the advent of the Environmental Law Act and are involved in research into the possibilities of introducing punitive enforcement in environmental law. The influence of 'Brussels' in environmental law is considerable. All this makes it complicated for companies and individuals who have to abide by the rules, and for the (governmental) bodies that have to enforce and/or implement the laws.

What we can do for you

Compliance with laws and regulations

Thorough up-to-date legal knowledge of environmental and administrative law is required when applying for permits and a variety of procedures, including enforcement procedures and (administrative) supervision. This not only concerns environmental law in the broadest sense of the word, including the environment, water, nature and waste, but also spatial administrative law.
