Refresco, a Dutch bottler for leading retailers in the Netherlands and Belgium and (inter)national A-brands, has acquired Avandis, a Dutch-based producer of alcoholic beverages, from the two cocktail companies Lucas Bols and De Kuyper Royal Distillers.
Refresco, a Dutch bottler for leading retailers in the Netherlands and Belgium and (inter)national A-brands, has acquired Avandis, a Dutch-based producer of alcoholic beverages, from the two cocktail companies Lucas Bols and De Kuyper Royal Distillers.
With this acquisition, Refresco expands its offering in the alcohol category. In addition to the sale of Avandis, Lucas Bols and De Kuyper also entered into a long-term production agreement, allowing Refresco to invest and expand its business. Avandis' production facility in Zoetermeer will now become part of the Refresco network. With this expansion, Refresco strengthens its position as a global independent provider of beverage solutions to brand customers and leading retailers. The integration process will start immediately, with Avandis being renamed Refresco.
