SD Worx acquires Pointlogic HR – 7 February 2020

SD Worx, a Belgian based salary and HR administration software company, has acquired, Pointlogic HR, a developer of software for the HR business, from Pointlogic Holding. Pointlogic HR, offers clients servicesto help improve the employee engagement via data-driven communication on their reward packages. With this acquisition Pointlogic hopes to be able to explore new and more international markets. Assisting our client Pointlogic in the sale Pointlogic HR to Belgian company SD Worx. Pointlogic HR is a developer of software for HR solutions. We drafted and negotiated the legal documents and coordinated the closing. Albert Wiggers

Dias Software acquires Unit4 Financial Intermediaries from Unit4 – 08 January 2020

Dias Software, a Dutch provider of software for financial intermediaries and insurance brokers, has acquired UNIT4 Financial Intermediaries from our client Unit4, a Netherlands-based software company that designs and delivers enterprise software and ERP applications and related services for people in services organizations. With the acquisition of Unit4 Financial Intermediaries, 50% of the shares in Aplaza, a Dutch software company, have also been taken over. Stephan Sluijters

Peinemann Holding, a Netherlands-based transport and logistics company, has acquired the Dutch industrial relocation company G. van Harten from its shareholders – 29 November 2019

We assisted purchaser Peinemann Holding in the transaction. We conducted the legal DD, drafted and negotiated the transaction documentation, and coordinated the closing of the transaction. Volta Ventures invests in Widget Brain – 26 November 2019

Volta Ventures, an Amsterdam based seed and early stage venture capital fund, has acquired a stake in Widget Brain: a fast-growing startup based in Rotterdam, the Netherlands offering technology to optimise rostering. Widget Brain will employ the investment to expand their operations worldwide, intensifying existing partnerships and creating new ones in Australia, Europe and North America at a faster rate. James Fisher & Sons acquires Ortega Submersibles – 14 August 2019

JFD, a full subsidiary of the LSE listed James Fisher & Sons, a UK-based provider of specialist services to the marine, oil and gas and other high assurance industries, has acquired all the assets of the bankrupt estate of Ortega Submersibles, a Netherlands-based submersible boat designer and manufacturer. JFD hopes that the acquisition will enable the company to further expand its offering of advanced Swimmer Delivery Vehicles (SDVs) and to develop new vehicles and capabilities in order to meet increased market demand for specialised small and medium-sized craft. ENGIE Services acquired Holland Systemen from VolkerWessels – 3 July 2019

Our client ENGIE Services, a Dutch provider of technology solutions, has acquired Holland Systemen, a Dutch supplier of integrated security systems, from VolkerWessels, a Dutch construction company. The acquisition of Holland Systemen reflects Engie's intention to focus on integral technological solutions and digitalisation. Engie hopes that the acquistion will strenghten their market position in the security industry. Holland Systemen will become a part of ENGIE Fire Safety & Security. Matrans Holding acquires SCA Logistics from SCA – 03 June 2019
