Nick Hessels and Alette Brehm assisted Krijn Verwijs Yerseke B.V. in establishing a strategic partnership with Van de Water Seafood.
The strategic partnership emphasizes the commitment of both companies to provide consumers with reliable seafood products. In the coming months, both partners will focus their efforts on further developing high-quality fresh seafood products, including cod, haddock, skrei, redfish, and pollock, which they will distribute through their network.
VDWS, founded in 2014 and based in Yerseke, specializes in processing and trading (import and export) of fresh fish from countries such as Iceland, Norway, and the North Sea in general.
Krijn Verwijs, located in Yerseke, has a long history in the shellfish and sea vegetables sector, including mussels, various shell species, cockles, crustaceans, and oysters. With seafarmers spread across the globe, the company manages the entire chain from cultivation to distribution, with a strong emphasis on quality and sustainability. Krijn Verwijs is convinced that the marine proteins will play a crucial role in future nutrition.
