The Dutch specialist in spiral freezers, ICS Spiral Freezers, has been acquired by the Belgian machine‑building group Sticomax. It is already the fifth Dutch company to join the group in just over two years. Through this partnership, ICS strengthens its technological position and supports the international growth ambitions of Sticomax, which focuses on integrating complete production lines for the global food industry.
ICS Spiral Freezers is globally recognized as a developer and manufacturer of high‑quality spiral freezers, spiral coolers, and spiral proofers. The Dutch company supplies fully customized installations for industrial bakeries and food producers. Systems range from compact solutions to large installations up to ten meters high with a capacity of up to 100,000 croissants per hour. ICS’s technology is a valuable addition to Sticomax’s existing activities. The installations stand out for their efficient energy use, minimal product dehydration, and highly hygienic design. With horizontal airflow and integrated Cleaning‑in‑Place technology, ICS ensures a stable production process and high food safety.
Sticomax is an international food‑tech group specializing in machines, process installations, and integrated production lines for the food industry. By combining the in‑depth expertise of Stumaco, Romonta, Intocon, ViwateQ, DTS, FoodeQ, and ICS, the group offers unique integration capabilities across nearly every stage of food processing. Its portfolio includes internal transport, thermal and hygienic processing, washing, peeling, cooling, freezing, pressing, weighing, dewatering, and defatting.
