CCR Group, part of FIELDS Group, has acquired the pharmaceutical testing services business of Synergy Health Utrecht, a portfolio company of STERIS.
The transaction includes the chemical testing laboratory in Utrecht and the microbiological testing for pharmaceuticals in Ede. STERIS will continue to operate the laboratory in Ede with a focus on medical device testing. STERIS is a US-based provider of infection prevention and other procedural products and services. The company is focused primarily on healthcare, pharmaceutical and medical device customers. CCR Group is a CRO with laboratory sites in Germany and the Netherlands offering a set of integrated services to predominantly the pharmaceutical and biotech industries.
