Ploum has advised APM Terminals Rotterdam on the co-determination process during the acquisition by Hutchison Ports Netherlands.

APM Terminals Rotterdam, a division of APM Terminals B.V., operates one of the world's most extensive port networks and integrated networks for inland services. They help both shipping lines and land-based customers to expand their operations and to achieve a more efficient, flexible and reliable supply chain.

The acquisition gives Hutchison Ports a more competitive position, which will lead (in a positive way) to more competitive pricing, better service and innovation.

Ploum’s team consisted of Rutger PloumJeroen Terstegge (M&A), Kim Prooij (employment law) and Michelle Westhoeve (employment law).
