Tim Vlug

Specialisation

Tim is working as a attorney at law at Ploum and is specialized in administrative and environmental law. Tim advises and litigates on many different issues within these areas of law, including nature protection (nitrogen), species protection, environment, water quality and management, construction and spatial planning, general questions about the Environment and Planning Act (Omgevingswet), general administrative law issues (including regulation, inspection, enforcement, public access to government information and the general principles of good governance) and governmental private law (government liabilities and private law instruments of the government in spatial developments).

Achtergrond

Tim completed his Master's degree in Constitutional and Administrative Law, specializing in Environmental Law, at Utrecht University (cum laude). Earlier, he completed the (Honours) Bachelor’s degree in Law at Utrecht Law College (cum laude). Tim has been a board member at the Rechtswinkel Utrecht and was previously a working student at a large law firm and at Ploum. Tim also contributed to the eighth edition of the handbook 'Huurrecht' (tenancy law) by Ploum lawyer Alain de Jonge.
