Enforcement and sanctionsAslihan works as attorney at law and specialises in administrative and environmental law. She advises on general administrative law, spatial planning, environmental law, public order, enforcement, government liability and the transitional area between public and private law. Aslihan also has extensive experience in litigation in the field of public and private law.
Aslihan is not only experienced in advising and litigation. She has completed three university studies: Criminology, Philosophy and Dutch Law, completed at Erasmus University Rotterdam and Leiden University. Aslihan is also writing a dissertation on soil pollution enforcement. During her law studies, Aslihan worked as an external court clerk at the Rotterdam District Court for the Criminal Law sector and the Administrative Law sector. Because of her broad educational background, she also provides support to governments in conducting (scientific) research.
Because of her broad perspective, Aslihan has an eye for the bigger picture and knows how to work towards a goal efficiently.
Aslihan Durmus has registered the following principal (and secondary) practice areas in the Netherlands Bar’s register of legal practice areas (rechtsgebiedenregister)
Based on this registration, Aslihan Durmus is required to obtain ten training credits per calendar year in each registered principal legal practice area in accordance with the standards set by the Netherlands Bar.
