Specialisation

Sarith is a member of the practice group IP/IT and specializes in intellectual property law. She focuses in particular on trademark, design and copyright law.

Background

Sarith graduated from Leiden University in 2021, where she obtained a master’s degree in Civil Law with a specialization in intellectual property law and private practice. She wrote her thesis on the Open Access provision in Dutch copyright contract law. In addition to her LLB, she also completed a BA at Leiden University College with a major in international justice. During her studies she worked as an intern at several Dutch law firms and volunteered at a legal advice centre. Sarith has been working at Ploum as an attorney at law since January 2022.

Based on this registration, Sarith Jonker is required to obtain ten training credits per calendar year in each registered principal legal practice area in accordance with the standards set by the Netherlands Bar.
