Frans Bakker

Specialisation

Frans is specialized in employment law and co-determination. He advises and litigates in matters regarding individual and/or collective dismissal cases, non-competition clauses, employment conditions, and compliance with the Works Councils Act.

He has a particular focus on legal matters that involve both employment and privacy aspects and is also particularly interested in the legal status of corporate directors. Frans is approachable, goal-oriented and has the ability to quickly delve into the core of any issue.

Background

Frans started as a criminologist but gradually shifted his focus towards the legal field. He obtained his Bachelor’s degrees in Criminology (2018) and Law (2019) at Erasmus University Rotterdam and later obtained a Master’s degree in Employment Law (2020) at the University of Amsterdam.

Frans is member of the Vereniging van Rotterdamse Arbeidsrecht Advocaten (VRAA), the Vereniging voor Jonge Arbeidsrecht Advocaten (VJAA), and the Vereniging voor Jonge Privacy Advocaten in Nederland (JPAN).
