Artificial intelligence

For several years now, the use and development of artificial intelligence (AI) has gained momentum. Additionally, tools such as ChatGTP have raised public awareness of AI enormously. Understandably so, as AI offers a lot of new opportunities. AI is subject to laws and regulations. The laws and regulations that apply to various AI systems include the EU Artificial Intelligence Act, also known as the AI Act. This is European legislation with rules governing the use and development of different types of AI. Other relevant provisions for AI for e.g. buying and selling, liability, contracts, privacy and intellectual property rights are scattered across different laws.

How we can help you

We can advise you on the legal side of developing AI. For example, we can advise on agreements to be drawn up and the necessary warranties, indemnities and liabilities that need to be arranged in them. We can also advise on the implications of other laws and regulations affecting AI. In addition, we can assist in the review of agreements, negotiations and, if necessary, proceedings on AI. Our specialists in the field of AI are fully up to date with what is going on concerning AI and regularly publish about it.
