Sabin primarily concentrates on trademarks, design rights, copyright and commercial law. Furthermore, Sabin is very familiar with domain name disputes and has litigated many times before the administrative courts such as WIPO. Besides that, he has an extensive experience in relation to large-scale and long-term projects for international clients, managing and assisting in parallel trade and anti-counterfeiting problems such as Custom detentions.

Willem Leppink heads the group (intellectual property) and is supported by partner Sabin Tigu in assisting clients including Harley-Davidson, Arla Foods, Donna Karan, and the Ford Motor Company.
Sabin has, after pursuing a career as professional tennis player, completed the Bachelor’s programme in Dutch Law and the Master’s in Comporate Law at the Erasmus University Rotterdam in 2011. In 2012 he joined Ploum.
Sabin Tigu has registered the following principal (and secondary) legal practice areas in the Netherlands Bar’s register of legal practice areas (rechtsgebiedenregister):
Based on this registration, Sabin Tigu is required to obtain ten training credits per calendar year in each registered principal legal practice area in accordance with the standards set by the Netherlands Bar.
