Lisanne has been an attorney since 2020. She works in the IP & IT section and specializes in information law. She advises companies on a variety of online issues, including privacy matters, copyright law and e-commerce.
Lisanne studied law at Leiden University. She lived abroad for a year. First in Paris for an exchange program at Sciences Po, then in Brussels for an internship at the Permanent Representation of the Netherlands to the EU. After returning to the Netherlands, she pursued a master's degree in Information Law at the Institute for Information Law (IViR), University of Amsterdam, and worked as a court clerk at the District Court of Rotterdam.
Lisanne is chair of the board of the Dutch Association for Young Privacy Lawyers (JPAN). She previously served on the JPAN’s conference committee. In the past, Lisanne was a board member of the Study Association for Information Law (SViR) and legal aid centre Rechtswinkel Westland.
