Alette mainly assists domestic and foreign companies on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and (re)financing transactions. She also advises on general corporate and contract law issues.
Alette (1983) graduated from Leiden University in 2007, majoring in company and corporate law. She worked as an attorney at law in the corporate team of Ploum in the period between 2008 and 2017. After an intermezzo of one year as legal counsel at Leiden University Medical Center (LUMC) she returned to Ploum in 2018.
Alette Brehm has registered the following principal (and secondary) legal practice areas in the Netherlands Bar’s register of legal practice areas (rechtsgebiedenregister):
Based on this registration, Alette Brehm is required to obtain ten training credits per calendar year in each registered principal legal practice area in accordance with the standards set by the Netherlands Bar.
