Specialisation

Astrid litigates and advises mainly in the field of employment law. She focuses primarily on reorganisations, terms of employment, non-competition and advice regarding co-determination.

Astrid has completed a post academic course in employment law (Post Academische Leergang Arbeidsrecht / PALA) and is an IMI Qualified Legal Mediator.

Background

Astrid graduated in 1994 in Utrecht and started working as an attorney at law at a firm in Utrecht in a general (litigation) practice. Astrid has started working at Ploum in 1996.

Astrid van Toledo has registered the following principal (and secondary) legal practice areas in the Netherlands Bar’s register of legal practice areas (rechtsgebiedenregister):

  • Employment law (arbeidsrecht), sub legal practice area collective dismissal (collectief ontslag), sub legal practice area participation (medezeggenschap)

Based on this registration, Astrid van Toledo is required to obtain ten training credits per calendar year in each registered principal legal practice area in accordance with the standards set by the Netherlands Bar.
