Anja specialises in managing the trademark and design portfolios of national and international companies and providing them with strategical advice regarding further expansion of their portfolio.
Anja also has experience in advising on- and conducting various proceedings relating to intellectual property rights, such as oppositions and nullity proceedings and other infringement cases.
In 2021, Anja obtained her master’s degree in Information law at he University of Amsterdam. She wrote her thesis on the protection of store designs through intellectual property law. During her studies she worked as a paralegal at a law firm. In addition to this, Anja did various internships at law firms and at a trademark office. Anja has been working at Ploum as a trademark and design attorney since January 2023
