Anfernee Leemans

Specialisation

Anfernee is an experienced associate in the employment law practice. He focuses on employment law in the broadest sense and advises both national and international businesses, managing directors, employees and co-determination bodies. Anfernee also has extensive experience in the transaction practice, in which he advises at the intersection of employment law and corporate law, such as the appointment and dismissal of (statutory) directors, remuneration/incentives, employee participation processes and (other) governance issues in mergers and acquisitions. Anfernee has ample experience in dealing with matters that require both an employment and corporate law angle.

Background

Anfernee completed a master's degree in employment law in 2019 and the master's degree in corporate law (cum laude) at Erasmus University Rotterdam in 2020. In addition, Anfernee has a background in (social) psychology. During his studies, Anfernee gained experience at several law firms in Rotterdam and Amsterdam. After his studies, Anfernee worked as a lawyer at De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek in Amsterdam. At De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek, Anfernee worked in both the employment law department and the mergers and acquisitions department. With his experience, Anfernee can advise at the intersection of employment law and corporate law and has extensive experience in transaction practice.
