Sophie specializes in advising on- and conducting various proceedings relating to intellectual property rights, such as oppositions and nullity proceedings and other infringement cases. Sophie also has experience in managing the trademark portfolios of international and national companies and carrying out pan-European trademark searches.
Sophie graduated from Leiden University in 2017 with a Master’s degree in Corporate Law with a specialization in Intellectual Property Law. During her studies, she did several internships within the legal profession and the industry. Prior to joining Ploum, Sophie worked for the international trademark and patent agency NLO Shieldmark.
Sophie is an official BMM Trademarkt Attorney.
