Matthijs van Loon


Matthijs works as a candidate civil-law notary at Ploum in the practice areas of real estate law and notarial family law. In the area of real estate law, he is involved in residential and commercial real estate, including the transfer of real estate properties and the establishment of rights in rem. In the area of notarial family law, Matthijs is specialized in drawing up or changing wills, prenuptial agreements and domestic partnership papers.


Matthijs (1997) obtained his Master’s degree in Notarial Law at Leiden University in 2021. During this time, he gained work experience at various law firms in the Netherlands. He has also been chairman of the notarial study association ‘B.N.S.L.’ in Leiden.
