Within Ploum, Dennis leads the IT and Privacy team. He has over 20 years of experience in the field of IT contracts and IT disputes. As a result, Dennis knows what a supplier or customer may expect and can quickly and pragmatically advise on the drafting, assessment, negotiation and termination of IT contracts and IT projects.
The sharing and/or enrichment of data plays an increasingly important role in many IT projects in which Dennis is involved, and therefore Dennis' extensive knowledge and experience in the field of privacy law.
An important part of his practice is assisting clients, both contracting authorities and tenderers, in IT projects that must be put out to tender under national or European procurement law.
Dennis also litigates on a regular basis. Both on conflicts regarding the execution or termination of IT contracts and the outcome of a tendering procedure.
Dennis is part of the editorial team of IT en Recht (www.itenrecht), the online platform for IT lawyers, and is responsible for the chapter on the Netherlands in the Chambers Global Practice Guide Public Procurement & Government Contracts.
